Group Picnic Shelters - SINKS CANYON 

About:

The Sawmill Campground Group Picnic Shelter comfortably holds 20-30 guests, with 4 large picnic tables and a covered grill.  Electricity is available upon request. 

The picnic shelter is adjacent to the Popo Agie River and restrooms.

Attention:

POPO AGIE CAMPGROUND SUSPENSION BRIDGE CLOSED FOR MAINTENANCE 
Trails can be accessed via the
Sinks Canyon Campground,
Bruce's Parking Lot, and the
North Slope Trail. 

 

Please Note: Water is shut off in our campgrounds from October 24th, 2024 to mid-May 2025. 

Campsites are all first-come first serve, Oct 1st - April 30th.  Campsite availability is weather dependent. 

Yurts are on the reservation system and availalbe year round.

  • Facilities are open to the public from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. year-round. After 10pm, all campground visitors must be staying at the campground.
  • The Visitor Center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 22 through September 4.
