More information:

Fire Restrictions to Begin at Glendo

Platte County has officially instituted a fire restriction due to high fire danger which will be put into effect in Glendo State Park immediately!

No wood fires or open flames of any kind, tiki torches, or fireworks are allowed while under a fire ban. Please plan ahead and consider bringing a gas or propane stove, charcoal grill (with a lid), or gas fire pit instead. Thank you for your help and cooperation in protecting our resource!

The park is open year-round for day use and camping. Day use permits are required from 6AM to 10PM, and camping permits are required from 10PM to 6AM. Fee booths are open Mon-Sun, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Otherwise, fees can be paid by cash or check, at canisters stationed at each park entrance, which are available 24/7.

Park Headquarters Hours:

  • Memorial Day-Labor Day: 7:30AM-4:00PM, Mon-Sun
  • Labor Day-Memorial Day: 7:30AM-4:00PM, Mon-Fri
