About:
Glendo State Park has an abundance of fishing opportunities. It is one of the prime walleye fisheries within the state of Wyoming. It also offers fishing for perch, bass, catfish, crappie and a few other species.
More information:
- Fishing is excellent anywhere in the park.
- It is most popular to fish from a boat, but fishing from shore is just as good.
- A Fish Cleaning Station is available from early May to Sept. 30 at Bennett Hill.

COVID-19 Coronavirus Camping in Wyoming State Parks now open to ALL visitors. From October 1st, 2020 to April 30th, 2021, all campsites at Glendo State Park will be available only on a first-come, first-served basis. Social distancing guidelines are in place. Fire restrictions have been lifted for Platte County, Glendo State Park, and Guernsey State Park as of 11/2/2020. |

The park is open year-round for day use and camping. Day use permits are required from 6AM to 10PM, and camping permits are required from 10PM to 6AM. Fee booths are open Mon-Sun, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Otherwise, fees can be paid by cash or check, at canisters stationed at each park entrance, which are available 24/7.
