Guernsey State Park has 1 modern shower facility available for public use, it is ADA compliant. One shower for males and 1 shower for females.
The public shower facility is located next to the Guernsey State Park Headquarters Building.
The shower house is open from April 15th through October 15th.
Guernsey State Park is beautifully situated around Guernsey Reservoir. Guernsey State Park has long been an attraction to boaters, water skiers and swimmers. Its miles of shoreline provide public access to the reservoir which is suitable for all types of water-based recreation activities.
The entire reservoir is open to swimming activities. Actual “beaches” are located at the Parks’ Sandy Beach, Sandy Point and Sandy Cove Campgrounds.
Swimming activities are available as water levels allow, generally April through September are suitable for swimming. Daylight hours provide the safest time for swimming activities.

Guernsey State Park is situated along the North Platte River and Guernsey Reservoir which provides a variety of habitats that are home to a wide variety of wildlife species. The park is a birders and wildlife viewing haven.
The entire park provides valuable habitat for all types and species of wildlife. The riparian areas, open grasslands, canyons and timbered hillsides provide excellent locations to watch for the many species of birds and animals that call Wyoming home.
Wildlife viewing opportunities are good throughout the year, but, the springtime and autumn months are the best times of the year to spot the wild things of the park.
