Stream Fishing - WYOMING TERRITORIAL PRISON
About:
Gone Fishin’! The Big Laramie River runs through the Historic Site. Anglers report catching wild brown trout up to 20 inches long. The area has also recently been stocked with catchable rainbows. The best fishing is in late fall, right after runoff. This section of the river is slow and meandering, with deep runs and undercut banks.

Just east of Interstate-80 from the Greenbelt Access and Historic Site on the east and west sides of Snowy Range Road.

Contact Deborah Cease for more information.

Stream fishing with proper fishing licenses; Wyoming State Parks Annual Day Use fees, and Wyoming Lifetime Veteran permits (honored as Free admission).
