
Wildlife Viewing - WYOMING TERRITORIAL PRISON
About:
The most notable natural resources feature are the wetlands which covers 1/3 of the Historic Site. These wetlands provide valuable habitat for many aquatic and terrestrial species. The site also contains portions of the Big Laramie River and upland prairie. A large variety of birds, insects and animals can be viewed during the year.

Wildlife viewing is located north of the prison stockade.

The museum and site grounds will be CLOSED on the following holidays: Thanksgiving (November 25 and 26) New Year's Day (January 1)
GUIDED TOURS Start May 27 and will continue through Oct 1. Guided Tour Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday at 10am, 11:30am, 1pm, and 2:30pm. No additional fees apply, purchase tickets upon arrival. SELF TOUR available during operational hours. Purchase tickets upon arrival.
