Ever wonder what Lander and the Sinks Canyon State Park area looked like 100 years ago? Learn about an extensive history of the area, July 20 from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sawmill Campground. Jack States, whose family homesteaded the mouth of Sink Canyon knows. A member of the oldest family left in the area, States knows a rich history of what Sinks was like from 1,000 years ago, to 100 years ago to 20 years ago. There have been incredible changes and some that the public may not realize. Enjoy a presentation by this long-time area resident. This is a free event.
