SwimbeachAbout:

There's one designated swim beach in Boysen at the Brannon Campground.

More information:

This location is for day use only, closing at 10:00 p.m.
There are change houses and vault toilets available.

Please keep in mind the beach has some rules:
No pets allowed.
No fishing permitted.
No boats in the area.
No glass bottles are allowed.

All beach amenities including picnic tables and shelters are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The beach hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

About:

Three cabins on the river are located at Upper Wind River Campgound. The cabins include wood furniture including a table, chairs, bunk beds and futon inside and picnic table and fire pit outside. Linens are not provided. Unfortunately, there is no indoor plumbing and cooking is not permitted inside. There is a vault toliet and water spigot at the campground.

AvailabilityAvailability

Cabins may be reserved year-round, up to 120 days before arrival. You may reserve online through our website HERE or by calling the Call Center at 877-WYO-PARK. Reservations are accepted a minimum of one day before arrival so staff can prepare for your arrival.

More information:

  • Fishing Boysen Reservoir contains a diverse fishery.
  • Anglers will discover walleye, sauger, perch, crappie, ling, rainbow, cutthroat and brown trout as the major sports species.
  • Other game fish present are largemouth bass, bluegill, stonecat, black bullhead, mountain whitefish, lake trout, brook trout, channel catfish and splake. Non-game species include carp, fathead, minnow, plains killifish, golden and sand shiners, flathead, lake and creek chubs, white, longnose and northern redhorse suckers and the river carpsucker.

Boat Inspection Information: 

Game and Fish carries out watercraft inspections at certain docks. You'll find signs marking these spots, and anyone transporting watercraft is required to stop at the open check stations.
