The Kendrick Mansion, known by the family as “Trail End,” is a fully-furnished Flemish Revival style historic house museum interpreting the years between 1913 and 1933. Through original furnishings, personal family items and timely displays, Trail End presents an elegantly different facet of Wyoming’s rich and colorful history.
Location
The Kendrick Mansion (located at the Trail End State Historic Site, 400 Clarendon Avenue, Sheridan, Wyoming) is located in a residential neighborhood on the northwest side of town, overlooking Sheridan and the Big Goose valley.
Availability
The historic house museum is open to the public daily between April and mid-December. Currently, hours are as follows:
- April 1 through May 31: 1p to 4p daily
- June 1 through August 31: 9a to 6p daily
- September 1 through December 14: 1p to 4p daily (closed Veterans Day and Thanksgiving Day).
- In addition, the museum will be open extended hours (10a to 5p) the Saturday, Sunday and Monday of Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends.
Fees
- Current fees are $4.00 for adults.
- Wyoming residents receive a 50% discount ($2.00).
- Children 17 and under are admitted at no charge, but must be accompanied by an adult.
