
Visitor Center - SINKS CANYON
About:
The Sinks Canyon State Park's Visitor Center has:
- A flower display where you can see photos and pressings of flowers you are likely to see in the Park
- A skull case
- Several flip panels that talk about the history of the area
- A Sink to Rise diorama that explains how the water disappears and reappears
- A South Facing Slope display
- North Facing Slope display
- River display
- Kid's corner
- Gift shop
It's a museum packed into a fairly small space.

Visitor Center

Exterior exhibits are available year round.
Interior exhibits and gift shop are open Memorial Day - Labor Day.

No Daily use fees charged. Overnight Camping fees charged.

Attention: Sinks Canyon State Park is in a fire ban effective August 4th, 2025. No campfires or charcoal fires are allowed anywhere in the park. Gas camp stoves are currently still allowed and must be tended to at all times.
Please Note: Water is on in the campgrounds as of May 1st 2025. Campsites and yurts are reservation only May 1st-Sept 30th. |
