
Self-Guided Interpretive Trail - MEDICINE LODGE
About:
Medicine Lodge has two self-guided, nature-based interpretive trails. The Nature Trail is .5 miles in length and considered to be of “easy” difficulty. The Deer Path Trail is 1 mile in length and is of moderate difficulty.

Both self-guided interpretive trails originate and terminate within the park.

No day use fee, only camping

Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site is open year round with well maintained access to the park no matter the conditions. Seasonal Water Closure - October through April (sometimes mid-May) Water will only be available at one hydrant that is located next to the Site Cabin.
