About:
Medicine Lodge offers 3 museums. They’re each situated within historic log cabins and interpret the site’s archaeology, natural history and Wildlife Habitat Management Area.

The archaeology museum is directly across from park HQ, while the Natural History and Wildlife Habitat Management Area museums are along our Nature Trail.

Overnight camping fees apply. No other fees are charged to get into the park.

Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site is open year round with well maintained access to the park no matter the conditions. The 2024 Group Area reservations begin on January 2 at 7:30am. For more information, please call the park at 307.469.2234. |
