Museum - MEDICINE LODGE
About:
Medicine Lodge offers 3 museums. They’re each situated within historic log cabins and interpret the site’s archaeology, natural history and Wildlife Habitat Management Area.
The archaeology museum is directly across from park HQ, while the Natural History and Wildlife Habitat Management Area museums are along our Nature Trail.
April through October, 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Overnight camping fees apply. No other fees are charged to get into the park.

Medicine Lodge State Archaeological Site is open year round with well maintained access to the park no matter the conditions. The 2025 Group Area reservations begin on January 2 at 8:00am, and will be available online at reserve.wyoming.gov or by calling 877-996-7275. Seasonal Water Closure - October through April (sometimes mid-May) Water will only be available at one hydrant that is located next to the Site Cabin.
