Picnic Areas - HISTORIC GOVERNORS' MANSION
About:
While the Historic Governor’s Mansion does not have a designated picnic area, we allow visitors to utilize our lawn space if bringing a picnic lunch. These areas are comprised of the front and side lawns.

The eating areas are located on the Mansion's property, typically the front and side lawns

- Picnic areas are available for guest use during normal hours of operation

- There are no fees associated with the eating areas on the property
- Please note, however, that we require guests to pick up any trash or leftover food after meals in order to keep the mansion grounds as clean and neat as possible

Hours: The Mansion is currently closed to the public for one of our two seasonal closures. From January through March, groups of 5 or more can reserve a time to do a self-guided tour of the Mansion. School groups can also schedule guided tours! Special Events: Join us for special events year-round!
