Learn about native an invasive flora at Curt Gowdy State Park during a Botany Hike June 7, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The hike will begin at the Aspen Grove Trailhead. Depending on group willingness and ability, participants will hike 1-2 miles on easy-to-moderate terrain while learning about the plants and wildflowers of Curt Gowdy State Park.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own water and snacks, as well as appropriate gear for rainy or sunny weather. This is a free event.

For more information, please call 307-632-7946.

Volunteers are welcome to join the cleanup initiative at any time between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. To reach the cleanup site, take 9th Street in Laramie north for 9 miles (41.387376, -105.478322). Volunteers will meet at the first large turnout; there will be a sign-in table.

Lunch will be provided for those who RSVP by Friday, May 31st at 11:59 pm. Carpooling is encouraged since parking is limited. The Laramie Rifle Range will also give out Rifle Range Day Passes to volunteers as supplies last.
