Hawk Springs State Recreation Area (HSSRA) is a summer destination for all things water related. Visitors to the site enjoy playing in the water and swimming is a very popular summertime activity at the park.
Location- The reservoir is the entire eastern border of the park and provides potential swimming opportunities along the entire shoreline.
- Water levels vary throughout the year so swimming access may be limited during certain water conditions.
AvailabilitySwimming activities are done best during the May through September months.
FeesAll vehicles entering HSSRA must possess the appropriate SPHS&T daily and overnight permits.
