Guernsey State Park offers a variety of overnight camping opportunities. The Park has 245 designated campsites that can provide an overnight camping opportunities for those that prefer a primitive dryland experience up to those that prefer and require electrical and water hookups for their RVs or travel trailers. Some campsites are designated at reservable only from May 1 to September 30.
Location
- Guernsey State Park has 12 campgrounds located around the reservoir.
- All campgrounds have primitive campsites with fire rings and picnic tables.
- The Park does offer campsites with electricity and water utility hookups that are located on the west side of the park in the Sandy Beach and Sandy Point campgrounds.
- Additional campgrounds with many scenic campsites can be found along the eastern side of the reservoir. Access to these camping areas is provided off of Lake Side Drive.
Availability
- Campgrounds are open all year-around. For reservable sites, reservations may be taken up to four (4) months of arrival date between May 1 - September 30. Reservations can be made HERE or by calling our Call Center at 877-996-7275
- Water services to the campgrounds are unavailable October through April.
