WTP-RV-Dump-FacilityAbout:

  • RV Dump Station was modified to comply with EPA Regulations. Two hydrants - one (1) flexible hydrant for flushing your system - one (1) Potable Water (drinking water) hydrant located 50 feet away from the Sewer.
  • NO commercial vendor discharge (grease, chemical, etc.) allowed!

  • May 1 - October RV Dump is open.
  • Dump Station CLOSED during annual Pumpkin Walk event.
  • Water may NOT be available before May 25 and after September 25 due to freezing temperatures.
FeesFees
  • $10.00 stays at Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site to keep this RV Dump Station maintained and operational.
  • The system is connected to the city of Laramie water and sewer and requires the payment of monthly fees. We appreciate your monetary support.

The Wyoming Territorial Prison State Historic Site is a unique venue for conferences and meetings, corporate events, company holiday parties, family reunions, and wedding receptions and ceremonies. 

St. Mary’s of the Plains Church is an ideal setting for an intimate ceremony. The Horse Barn Theater is a historic and charming venue for your gala or reception. The WTPSHS grounds accommodate both ceremonies and receptions for those with a larger guest list.

About:

Connect with nature on the trail north to the scenic overlook on the Big Laramie River. This area is home to many species of fish, animals, birds and insects. Interpretative signs along the trail and at overlook help identify the wildlife in the area.

  • Laramie River Nature Trail – This trail begins at the prison stockade and winds north along the Laramie River to a scenic overlook shelter at a bend in the river. Interpretation topics include Laramie Basin Inhabitants; Geology and Soils; Riparian Wetland Mammals; Riparian/Wetland Habitats; Riparian Bird Life; Riparian/Wetland Vegetation; Laramie River Flora and Fauna; Laramie River Fishery
