Hunting - KEYHOLE

Keyhole State Park allows hunting within the boundary of the the area controlled by the Bureau of Reclamation. Hunters are able to take antelope, deer, turkey and waterfowl. Bow hunting for carp is also allowed, but there are separate rules which govern when and where you can hunt.

More information:

  • Prior to hunting on the park, we ask that you get a copy of our rules and regs that govern hunting on the state park.
  • Also, be aware that the park is surrounded by private property. There are few fences to separate private land from public, so be aware of where you are.
  • There is limited access to the hunting areas, so be prepared to pack out your game animal.
  • There is no off roading allowed in the park. This includes ATVs and ORVs.
  • You can not hunt within 400 yards of a campground, hiking trail or boat ramp.

  • Keyhole State Park is located 6 miles north of Interstate I-90 off of exit 165.
  • This is in the Northeast corner of Wyoming.

Hunting on Keyhole State Park is available during normal hunting seasons as established by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

  • There are no fees associated with hunting, however one must pay the day-use fee and camping fee as appropriate.
