Hawk Springs State Recreation Area has 4 sets of horseshoe pits to enjoy while visiting the park.

Location

The horseshoe pits are found adjacent to the campground and are easily accessed off of the only road through the park.

Availability

The horseshoe pits of the park are useable throughout the year.

Fees

Appropriate Daily Use and Overnight Camping fees apply. A self-pay canister is located at the park’s entrance.

With the appropriate fees and permits, Hawk Springs State Recreation Area is open 24 hours per day year-around.
Site potable water hydrants are useable from May 1 - September 30.
