Group Picnic Shelters - Buffalo Bill
About:
Trout Creek Shelter, Sheep Mountain Shelter, Bartlett Lane Shelter. There are also several day use shelters at Bartlett Lane, Marquette, Lake Shore and Eagle Point.
LocationTrout Creek in the North Fork Campground, Sheep Mountain in the Sheep Mountain Day Use Area, Bartlett Lane in the Bartlett Lane area.
The day use shelters are located at Bartlett Lane, Marquette, Lake Shore and Eagle Point.
AvailabilityTrout Creek, Sheep Mountain and Bartlett Lane may be reserved in advance. All others are available as a first come, first serve facility.
- Reservations for these picnic shelters can be made four months in advance of their use.
- Reservation may be made online HERE or by calling our Call Center at 877-996-7275.
FeesA $66 rental unit fee per day will be applied to the reservation.
Each vehicle entering the Park will be required to pay a day use fee as applicable. These fees are not included in the reservation and can be coordinated in advance by calling Buffalo Bill State Park at 307-587-9227.
For Trout Creek Group site with Shelter, 8 electric campsites are available for use. Please be sure to pay for appropraite electric and camping fees upon arrival if you will be staying overnight.

May 1 - September 30: Everything Open - Water and Showers weather dependent in May and September. Office hours 7am-7pm, Park open 24 hours a day to visitors; these hours vary as well due to seasonal employee personnel availability. October - April: North Fork Campground Closed; Sheep Mountain Day Use Area Closed; Rest of park open to camping and day use, ALL water systems turned off for the winter season.
