The first of several family friendly movies will be shown at 8 p.m., May 24 at the Rendezvous Area of Bear River State Park in Evanston. A showing of “Moana” will be the first of five movies shown this summer.

Movies rated G or PG will be shown on an inflatable movie screen. Bring a blanket of lawn chair and enjoy a relaxing evening along the banks of the Bear River. The movies will be show weather permitting.

Other movies and dates scheduled at Bear River State park are: June 28, “Finding Nemo;” July 26, “How to Train Your Dragon;” August 23, TBD; and September 27, “Despicable Me.”
