The Kendrick Mansion at Trail End State Historic Site is pleased to announce that their guided tours, “Christmas with the Kendricks,” are returning this month!
The year is 1920, and the Kendrick family is fresh off the train from Washington, D.C. and home for the holidays. Experience Christmas Eve at the Kendrick Mansion, as the family and their staff prepare for holiday festivities. Guests will take guided tours, where they will watch various scenes play out through the home. Actors will be portraying real people and real events!
On December 18 and 19, the tours will depart from the Carriage House via a horse-drawn wagon (weather permitting), and participants on these tours must be able to climb stairs.
The tours on December 20 will be handicapped accessible, with the elevator available to those who wish to use it. These tours will begin and end at the mansion, and the wagon ride will not be available this day.
COVID precautions: Only 6 tickets per tour time are available, and every participant must wear a mask.
This is a fundraiser for the Trail End Guilds, in conjunction with the Civic Theater Guild. Tickets are $10 per person.
Tickets should be purchased in advance, and are on sale now! They can be bought in person at Trail End State Historic Site from 1:00-4:00 pm daily, or online anytime atwww.trailend.org.
