Visit Jim Bridger's famous trading post on The Oregon Trail as well as the fort built by the US army and the old hotel on The Lincoln Highway.
Fort Bridger State Historic Site includes 37 acres with 27 historic structures, 4 historic replica structures, and 6 modern structures. Some natural historic sights you will find at Fort Bridger include the Groshon Creek, aspen groves, and many historic pines from the military era. There are also many archaeological digs currently being conducted on site.
