Group Picnic Areas - FORT BRIDGER
About:
The designated picnic area is located at the group shelter and includes 32 picnic tables and 5 grills. However, there are many other ideal picnic areas at Fort Bridger if visitors bring blankets or chairs.
The banks of the Groshon Creek is an ideal location for a picnic, but no amenities for a picnic are available in that location.

- If a visitor would like to reserve the Group Shelter, please call the Fort Bridger office at 307-782-3842.
- We prefer at least a week’s notice.
LocationThe Group Shelter is located next to the main parking lot.
Availability- First come, first served unless the Group Shelter has been previously reserved.
- Daily 8 am-dusk.
Fees- Included in site entrance fee unless reserving the Group Shelter.
- If reserving the Group Shelter, there is a $50 reservation fee, $50 cleaning fee, and the site entrance fee.
- The cleaning fee is given back after the event if the area is deemed clean by site staff.
