Hynds Lodge is a conference and accommodation lodge originally built by Cheyenne, Wyoming businessman Harry P. Hynds and donated to the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) in 1922. It is open from May 1 to September 30 by reservation only. Online https://reserve.wyoming.gov/Web/ or by calling our Call Center at 1-877-996-7275. It has overnight accommodations for 20 people (max occupancy of 90), a large kitchen, dining room, living room, covered porch, stone fireplace and chimney. There are additional tables and chairs for events. Linens, plates, cooking pots, etc. not included.
Hynds Lodge is often used as a wedding venue. The Amphitheater, located a short distance from Hynds Lodge can also be rented at $75 per day, but is not included in the reservation automatically.

Fees- Hynds Lodge: $200 rental unit fee per day
- Day Use fees are required for each vehicle entering the park (including all guest vehicles to the lodge). These fees are not included with the reservation but can be coordinated in advance with Curt Gowdy State Park by calling 307-632-7946.
- Any vehicles staying overnight also will be required to pay Overnight Camping fees per vehicle depending on residency status and are not included in the reservation.These may also be coordinated in advance by calling Curt Gowdy State Park at 307-632-7946.
- A non-refundable booking fee will be applied to each reservation.

Attention: STAGE 1 FIRE RESTRICTIONS ARE IN PLACE (camp fires in fire rings are allowed) - - - - - West Granite Springs Reservoir HCB Rec. Use Advisory in Effect September 30th at 11 AM, our water in the campgrounds will be shut off for the season. Please plan accordingly. October 1st starts all campsites being first-come, first-serve. Please call ahead for details before hunting in the park. Curt Gowdy is open to deer hunting, with ARCHERY equipment ONLY, during the rifle season. This does not include the whole park, we will have updated hunting area maps by mid-September. We highly recommend visiting the visitor center to get detailed maps. Hunting laws are strictly enforced. The only exception is North Crow, which is open to ARCHERY hunting ONLY, starting the Tuesday after Labor Day. Please refer to Wyoming Game and Fish season dates.
SPECIAL NOTE: Curt Gowdy State Park does NOT have a trailer dump station. There are two local dump stations, each roughly 24 miles from the park. To the east, in Cheyenne, there is a dump station at the South East Wyoming Welcome Center, 5611 High Plains Road Cheyenne, WY 82007, open 24hrs, free of charge. The second is located west of the park at the Wyoming Territorial Prison 975 Snowy Range Rd, Laramie, WY. Exit 311 off I-80. Located at the South end of the parking lot, cost is $10, open May 1 until October. |

Little House Kid's Activity House Open Friday, Saturday, Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Closed for the season on Labor Day Jack and Gypsies Camp Store (nonmotorized boat rentals, food and camping supplies). CLOSED FOR THE SEASON Wood and Ice avilaible 24/7, with the honor system through payment apps. Closed Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday and Thursday 11 a.m. - 3 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Holiday Weekends 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Located just to the left, when heading to the boat launch on Granite. The camp store closes for the season September 30th.
