Wildlife Viewing - BOYSEN

About:

Located at the entrance of Wind River Canyon and at the southern tip of the Owl Creek Mountains, this park covers more than 35,000 acres around the vast Boysen Reservoir, offering diverse habitats that support a wide range of wildlife.

It's a paradise for bird watchers and wildlife enthusiasts.

You can spot antelope and mule deer roaming freely, and sometimes even a bighorn sheep. Mornings are lively with campgrounds filled with birds chirping and small critters like rabbits munching on grass. Campers often see the beloved yellow belly marmots.

Plus, the waters are teeming with various fish, making it a dream spot for anglers.
