Wildlife Interpretive & Educational Displays - BEAR RIVER
About:
Bear River State Park Visitor Center offers a wide variety of wildlife interpretive & educational displays such as Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, pronghorn, bison, golden eagles, great-horned owls, a raccoon, river otter, American badger, Alaskan wolf, grizzly bear, black bears, red fox, Cooper’s hawks, Trumpeter swans & much more! There is a whole room currently under construction that will eventually be a huge wildlife diorama. It will feature painted outdoor murals on the walls and built in wildlife habitat. We also have some Native American artifacts, wildlife skulls & rocks on display as well.

AvailabilityOpen year-round from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., 7 days per week. Closed on a select few winter holidays.

Visitor Center Hours: Winter Hours (Oct 16 - Apr 15): 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday/Sunday - Closed on Tuesdays & Wednesdays and holidays - Closed for lunch from 1:00pm - 2:00pm & periodically for park maintenance, snow removal, and feeding of the elk & bison.
