Come to Glendo State Park and explore the night sky with Casper Planetarium staff during Star-Gazing Parties on June 14 and 15.

Both events begin at 7 p.m.at the Bennett Hill camp host shelter, where guests will have the opportunity to learn about star-gazing equipment, and to view the night sky with the knowledgeable educators from the Casper Planetarium.

During the first 90 minutes, children can participate in some fun, educational games. Star-gazing will begin at 8:30 p.m. and is expected to last until 9:30 p.m. This program is appropriate for all ages, but families are especially encouraged to attend, as several of the earlier activities will be oriented towards a younger audience. The star-gazing later in the evening will be appropriate to any and all who wish to attend.

This program has no admission cost, though park permit fees still apply to all vehicles. Glendo State Park offer star-gazing parties in August as well. The public is welcome to attend any and all evenings, and we look forward to seeing you there!
