            A special opportunity to view the upcoming Solar Eclipse from Glendo State Park’s new yurt is available through an online auction sponsored by Rooch’s Marina. Experience the Great American Solar Eclipse and Glendo State Park with this once in a lifetime opportunity.



            The 20-foot diameter yurt sleeps six and includes a spacious area of log furniture, deck space with a picnic table and bench offering spectacular views. The yurt is tucked in a quiet wooded area.

The package includes a four-night stay during Eclipse weekend and has a starting bid of $1,500.

A bid exceeding $5,000 will also receive complimentary meals from Rooch’s Marina for six people each of the four days and free paddle board/kayak rental for up to six people.

Bids exceeding $10,000 will also receive a catered dinner each evening at the yurt for up to six people provided by Rooch’s Marina, a free pontoon boat rental the day of the eclipse, free paddle board rental Friday through Sunday and free eclipse t-shirts.

The auction is currently underway and is active until Aug. 7.

The Yurt is donated for this auction by the Wyoming Division of State Parks, Historic Sites and Trails. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Glendo State Park and the Glendo Volunteer Rural Fire Department.
