Experience Fort Bridger and Medicine Lodge Wyoming state historic sites in a way you may not have previously during the “Bike Your Park” event, September 29.

Bike Your Park is a nationwide program promoted by the Adventure Cycling Association that encourages and promotes cycling in parks and public lands. This year is the third annual Bike Your Park event. In the past two years, more than 20,000 people participated in approximately 2,500 rides in all 50 U. S. states and over a dozen countries

The Fort Bridger event begins in the main parking lot at 10 a.m. and features a two mile, easy ride.

The Medicine Lodge ride starts in front of the petroglyph cliff at 11 a.m., and has a distance of 1.5 miles over easy terrain. Both events are free to participants.DSCF5674

Riders are encouraged to wear bike helmets. Also, participants completing their respective course will receive free stickers commemorating the event.
