FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

A series of Star Gazing and Solar Viewing programs beginning August 18 are featured at Boysen State Park during the Great American Eclipse weekend.

All of the programs will take place at the Tough Creek Campground and Lakeside Area.

In addition to the special programming, Boysen State Park will prove to be a prime viewing area of the Eclipse since it is located in the “Area of Totality.” Also, Boysen State Park is an area void of light pollution enhancing the viewing of the Eclipse.

Visitors to Boysen State Park are encouraged to come to the park early as the first-come, first-serve campgrounds will fill up quickly. Day Use areas will be available for Eclipse viewing.
