About:

Sinks Canyon offers one multi-use trail for both hikers and non-motorized bikes that runs for 2 miles along the canyon's sunny side.  The Sunnyside Trail is a beginner - intermediate mountain bike trail that maintains around a 4% grade for most of the trail and offers some exciting yet iintroductory mountain bike features.

The Sunnyside Trail trailheads are located at the south end of the Rise parking lot, and just north of the cattle guard at the southern boundary of the park.

The trail offers 5 interpretive graphics for user to enjoy along the route.

Please be cautious of other users on the Sunnyside Trail. Bikes yield to hikers, and hikers please be aware of blind corners where bikers may not see you.

Pets are welcome on a leash on the Sunnyside Trail May1st-Nov 30th. Pets are not allowed on the Sunnyside Trail during the winter months since the trail is located in critical winter Mule Deer habitat. Dogs may cause undue stress on animals in the winter months when they are already experiencing stress from the harsh Wyoming winters. Please always respect wildlife and keep you distance year-round.
