Visitor Center - SINKS CANYON

About:

The Sinks Canyon State Park's Visitor Center has:

  • A flower display where you can see photos and pressings of flowers you are likely to see in the Park
  • A skull case
  • Several flip panels that talk about the history of the area
  • A Sink to Rise diorama that explains how the water disappears and reappears
  • A South Facing Slope display
  • North Facing Slope display
  • River display
  • Kid's corner
  • Gift shop

It's a museum packed into a fairly small space.

Please Note: Water is shut off from September to Memorial day in our campgrounds.

  • Facilities are open to the public from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. year-round. After 10pm, all campground visitors must be staying at the campground.
  • The Visitor Center is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 22 through September 4.
