Museum - FORT FETTERMAN
About:
Fort Fetterman is open to the public during the summer. A restored officers’ quarters and an ordnance warehouse have interpretive exhibits and artifacts of the fort’s history, Fetterman City and its Indian Predecessors. You are encouraged to walk the grounds where interpretive signs describe the fort’s buildings and activities.
From I-25, take exit 140 and travel 7 miles on HWY 93.
- Open Seasonally from Memorial Day to Labor Day
- Museum & Ordnance BLDG open 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday- Saturday
- Free Admission

Ft. Fetterman State Historic Site is open seasonally. For the 2024 season our hours of operation will Tuesday thru Saturday 9am to 5pm starting on May 24, 2024 thru August 31, 2024.
